What's NOMI?
NOMI - Nonlinear Optical Medium Institute. †
Recent 60 years from the Laser foundation, we human beings had gotten a wonderful applications, e.g. Optical Discs, laser knives, etc. These technologies was based on the nonlinear interaction between laser beams and materials. Nowdays, the nonlinear optical interaction in the medium becomes more and more exciting scientific fields.
NOMI, Nonlinear Optical Medium Institute, is founded to explore these exciting scientific fields to develop the new century's key devices.
Our scientists would knock the new scientific door in this century.
レーザーが発明されてからの60年間に、人類はさまざまな偉大な応用を手にしました。それは、光ディスクであり、レーザーメスであり、ほかのさまざまな用途の物です。これらの技術はレーザー光線と物質との間の非線形相互作用がその基礎にあります。近年では、媒質との非線形光学作用は科学の世界でとてもエキサイティングな領域になってきています。
NOMI、非線形光学媒質研究機構はそのようなエキサイティングな領域を探索することにより、新しい世紀にふさわしいキーデバイスを産出するために創設されました。
所属科学者は今世紀中に新しい科学の扉を叩くことは疑いありません。
